I've been ignoring LJ for 6 weeks now......just because I'm too lazy didn't have time to get on the com been doodling in my sketchbook for sometime now and sadly it's almost use up....which comes with the dilemma of what kind of new one to use. I'm thinking of using watercolors too...damn...I choose the wrong time to start obsessing about drawing and art. Mom moved on to quiting and sewing so she doesn't remember where she put all her art supplies...but then again she might not even let me use in :(

I have a banned my tablet. It just keep losing connections and easy to lost control. I'll have to wish for a new one for my next birthday. Speaking of birthdays it suck to be 14.............cuz you get your citizenship at 15. And when you are tall in a community full of short asians people tends to think that you're 16....I have been mistaken to be a sophomore and a junior.....strange.....but I guess its what kept me from being tease by my upperclassmen.

We were assigned our WWW last week and I'm taking Jewelry!!!!!! I'll be making a ring with a clever design that I haven't though up off. The class isn't until Feb. so there's no reason to rush.

Things to do:
1. Find what type of sketchbook to buy
2. Catch up on Hetalia.....

MY HOLY ENGLISH TEACHER IS MAKING THE WHOLE CLASS GO TO A POETRY NIGHT (coffee house) AT SCHOOL ON THURSDAY!!!!!
I WILL HAVE TO GO UP IN FRONT OF STRANGERS AND READ MY (still unwritten) POEM

You know your have a bad week if:

1. Your violin bow broke

2. Your earphones ripped

3. Your friend got sick on her birthday

4. You can't find your tablet

5. You got slightly sick on your birthday

6. You're more sick cuz you sat directly infront of the AC during the Chem. exam

7. Mom and Dad are sick from eating bad nuts

8. Academic grade checks were on Wednesday

9. You’re gonna have 99% in Thai class for the rest of the semester

10. It's being raining for the past 2-3 days

11. Your grandma keep waking you up at 5 in the morning cuz she though you had school

12. You're dying of a heat stroke because your brother refused to turn on the AC

13. You missed club for the 3rd time

14. You forgot to turn in your assignment online

15. Facebook is being bitchy

16. So is Livejournal

17. And Itunes.....

18. And your Ipod broke in the middle of all of this

19. DeviantArt is being bitchy too...

It feels like forever since I first enter school. I have club, I finally had a violin lesson, I completed 2 oral report, and I have a group of friends. I'm doing great in Thai (better than what Mom and Dad though; they were bleaming with joy when they hear what the teacher said) and Japanese (one of the top 3 in class because I already learn half the stuff). In our little manga club (an OFFICAL club) we're making our own manga which will be filled with one shots. The themes are a little angsty but Natsumi, Brooke, Maddie, Kara, Play, Pa—(don’t remember name…), and me (the freshmen group) will deal with it. We are gonna be divided into small groups next drawing section (we switch between watching and drawing animanga) all I know is that I’m sticking with Natsumi. She and I are the best drawers in the freshmen group (from their opinion. I think Natsumi is much better than me). Play likes to design clothes (most Lolita) and Kara great at doing hair. Maddie, and Pa--- are writers and translators.

A lot of people here at ISB are obsessed with sketch book. One look and they’ll try almost every way to steal it to look. I notice that a lot of people are musicians (or at least the ones I hang with). Brooke and Cela plays cellos. Maddie plays the French horn and a bit of piano. And I know others do music too….I just don’t know what. I found out that you could use the practice rooms in the music hallway. Finally something to do for 2 hours before my violin lessons

Edited: Deviantart stopped bitching on me so.....with out a tablet I present......

Second week rolling in quickly. There are only about 13 more days until my birthday. I’m feeling accomplished right now. I finished reading volume 3 of D. Gray-man in Thai all by myself. No dictionary or any grown up help! No words could describe how happy I am….As an early birthday present Mom brought me a whole set of Reborn and Hetalia. (All my birthday money was gonna go all to books anyway…). As it seems that my birthday is coming early this year, my aunt (dad’s sister in law) gave me a violin for my afterschool lesson (which is starting on Thursday). For some unknown reason (I turn one of the knobs too much) one of the strings broke. I haven’t had it for 24 hours and I already broke it….. (Well the violin is pretty old so Mom didn’t get that mad when I told her). What else?.... I’m finally getting my phone on Friday (my birthday REALLY is coming early this year). My friend, Eliene’s fanfiction is on the best PoT fanfiction list (YAY!! Still haven’t read her fics yet)…………Oh yeah! World Civil. I found yesterday that Chika likes Hetalia. A LOT. When she saw the manga she almost screams out loud in surprise…. Later that day it happen the other time, this time Natsumi who was in English and gym. It feels refreshing to be somewhere where people actually understand what a manga is and reads the same stuff I do. Okay back to world civil. We were talking about India, our first unit. So we were talking about Afghanistan and how no one really went across it except Alexsander the great….The tribes there killed an army of British soldier except for one, the doctor, and during the Cold War, Russia couldn’t get past either… this goes back to the first time I heard of Hetalia. I googled it and went to Wikipedia. There was another link that leaded to a similar story to Hetalia only it was Afghanistan by a different artist, but that wasn’t important. It was the idea in my head that a cute little girl kicking Arthur and Ivan’s ass….

GOD!!! WHY CAN'T DAD GET A PHONE!!!!?????

First official week at ISB. My first though.....the classes are LONNGGGGG (well ofcouse it is if I have only 4 period a day), but it's better than the usual Sycamore schedule because if you didn't do your homework that night, you can do it on the next day. I pretty much have classes with same group of people (something about blocks like in E.H. Greene). The best part is you don't have to be in a classroom for study hall (there's no room at all) and the library have laptops computer and free printer. Now every other day (because I have freshman seminar every other day; to be explain later) I can read fanfiction and finally update my facebook!!!

My favorite teacher:

Mr. Sheridan - Social studies teacher. From England. Love England (he's the one that would give us extra points if we label England on a map...)
Mr. Krocker - English teacher. From England (most teachers are from England even though it's an american school). Mrs. Gartner-like. Very hard class
Mrs. Bates - Science teacher (1/2 female teachers I have). From Australia. Very funny.

It's been only a week and I already have 1 poster project, 1 essay(story), and 2 oral presentation due in 1-2 weeks.........A reason to let me play dad's laptop...

I also need to memorize the table of elements...AGAIN. I failed the last time I took a test. why would this be different?

Okay so my first day of ISB.....went good.....I didn't get lost, I didn't miss the bus, I made friends....but to have a "good" day like this actually started on the school orientation for new students....

My family got to ISB very quickly. An hour wait or so before the meeting started. We were move to MPB (meeting-something-something) There were other new students there ranging from seniors to freshmen. It wasn't long before we were move to a small auditorium. Then after some explanation on what is the school's goal, we split between parents and students. Then it was by grades. The 9th graders and their student ambassadors were leaded to the gym where we have some bonding activity. First it was a rotated wheel to meet all the ambassadors, who where seniors. Then we do the train name game where one person ask for another's name then the two form a train and asked another for their name to join their newly made train. The group with the most people wins. After that it was a short break where I meet Cela, my first new ISB friend who camed in Viriginia but lived in Texas. Then we speak a bit with Darcee, another new 9th grader like us who came from New Zealand, she was with Anna (who likes to be called Elina) that's from Sweden and who doesn't speak alot....From then on we were like a group. However Darcee and Elina was in another 9th grade group than us so it's usually me and Cela. Cela and I ate lunch together were I learn that she have an older brother. Then it was time to get our class list. Cela and I was in the same English class (8D) but we have the most difficult teacher ever (or so the seniors said). When our student ambassadors and their friend saw the teacher's name (it's Krocker) some of their faces paled and most said we're doom....not really a good sign is it? After that it was the 9th grade ONLY orientation. My new little group choose to sit in the back when the 9th graders start coming in. There we sat watching the same sideshow for the 2nd time and taking the same tour another round (for me it would be the 3rd time). Then we all said good bye and left....

Like I said, my first day when "good". Nothing special, nothing really went wrong. We have an assembly first thing after we find our homeroom and got our planbooks & ID. I sat with Cela and Elina (don't know where Darcee went). Then it was to first period, English with Cela. We sat on the far opposite side of the door at the edge. We're the 2nd to arrive. Soon the class was filled with abouth 14 other students and the introduction begins. I learn that Mr. Krocker is the hardest grader and focus more on philosophy than the actual literature. He doesn't seem as bad as the seniors said he would be. He reminds me of Mrs. Kerns and Mrs. Gartner. Other than that nothing really pops out. 2nd period was gym with this Indian guy. My 3rd period is by far my favorite, social studies world civilization. Mr. Sherman (I don't think that's his name but it does start with an "s") He seems like a happy go lucky guy, who doesn't like it when students are facing back to him when teaching and love music exspecially guitar players. I made two new friends named Erika and Chika (They're not twins, but they're Japanese) Erika reminds me of my neighbor Hope and Chika is a bit jumpy in my opinion. I went to lunch with Erika but lost her at the line. I meet with Darcee and we each got a sandwich before she went to help Elina and I went to find a seat. Cela founded us later and we ate together. We have a 50 minutes lunch. We hang around with each other before heading out. I went to my 5th period which was Freshmen seminar. We just sat in a circle and tell a little about ourselves. I skip back to 4th bell which was Intro. to Chem./Phyics. Mrs. Bates is so far my only female teacher. She's from Australia, love flowers, have a sense of humor, and have ran into a kangeroo. Erika was in my class but she sat on the far end of the table. 6th bell was Japanese. We then have a mix of grades in the room. One of the girl in my freshmen seminar was with me, her name was Maddy. I've also meet another girl name Michaela. Then we introduce ourselves to others and by then the class was over. 7th bell was Thai. By far I'm surprise to see that I'm not the less knowledgeable student in the class. There were these two other girls in my class. One, I think is a 11 grader, and one who's name was Janet. We looked at Thai characters and wroted down what we already know. 8th and last bell was Algebra. My third female teacher (the Thai teacher was a female). She seems happy-go-lucky too. She was the first one that gave us homework.  I went out the door as quickly as I can. I didn't really know where the vans are but this lady pointed it out to me a few minutes before they left. The ride was about 45 minutes.

My second day is technically my offical first day. I only have 4 classes a day. Odds one day, evens the other. Today was English, History, Seminar, and Thai. Each about 1 hour and 30 minutes long. English went pretty fast since have of the time we were writing a short essay. The topic was "This is me" I filled both sides of a loose leaf paper. They also turned in the summer reading assignment (which I had no clue about) It was just some notes on the god and goddess of mythology (for some weird fate I read a mythology book during my month stay here). I still have to do it and given on Monday. Erika told me that there was summer reading for History too.....That will be work out on Tuesday..... It was REALLY fun in History. We got in to small groups and we made a table with the information of the people in our group. I learn that Becca is Thai-American, Win is Thai (he's also in my English class, he reminds me of Daniel), and this guy Lauri is from Finland. Then each group was to draw a world map based on our memories. Ours was the worst in my opinion. Our Africa looked like a foot. Stilled we have the most fun in my opinion. In the Seminar, I hanged out with Maddy and this other japanese girl that I forgot her name. We watched a 19 minutes video on this guy talking about the stages of school. The class was an hour and 1 hour and 30 minutes. After the video we were free to go. We can do anything on campus as long as we arrive to class on time. I brought a caramel frappie and met Bright for 3 minutes. Then I hanged out with the same japanese girl from the Seminar until I headed out to Thai. In class we talked about politics and learn about some vocab in our reading. I'm not really learning anything....Thai was 10 minutes over early. I was the only one heading for the bus. That's was a short summery of how my school days went because Bright is being a meanie head and making get of the computer.

OF ALL BIRTHDAYS I THINK MY GRANDMA IS THE HARDEST ONE TO BUY FOR. SHE DOESN'T LIKE/USE FAKE JEWELRY OR NON-POPULAR BRANDS. SHE ONLY WEAR A CERTAIN TYPE OF CLOTHING MATERIAL. IF I HAND MADE SOMETHING SHE WOULDN'T USE IT. I DON'T HAVE MONEY TO BUY HER EXPENSIVE STUFF TOO.

EVERYTHING IS ARRIVING IN A WEEK. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S BEEN A MONTH ALREADY. PLUS ISB STARTS ON THE 6TH, NEXT WEEK. I STILL DON'T EVEN HAVE MY OWN ROOM....

Okay we finish touring the schools today. We decided on ISB, my first school of choice. Patana was great, but it's too far away and there's no room for Boink. Bangkok Pattaya was also far away. St. Andrews and NIST have the same probablem for Boink. Harrow is also full in both grade. Technically ISB is the only school we have left to enroll (although I could have gone to a school differ from Boink). We still have to take the entrance exam, but I'm sure it'll be alright.

Mom said I should start thinking about what I want to do. I narrow it down to forensic science. Now I need to find a college. I want to go back to the US but that would require a scholarship.

I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince yesturday, the day it came out. It was good, but I was kinda hoping it was gonna be more........you know...action. Well I guest it isn't suppose to have much action since it's suppose to explain about the Horcrux. It was shorter then the 5th movie. My mom personally told me that Snape looked fatter XD

yes the title in the subject is true. it's illegal to chew gum in public in Singapore.

okay so we finally look at schools today. the theme was british~ british school from morning to the afternoon. Touring the schools I learn these things:

1. There are Year 1 - 13 (America have 1 - 12). They have the primary school (elementary) that is year 1 - 6. secondary is 7 - 11 grade. high school is 12 - 13. Since the number is much different (for some unknown reason) If I would to go to 9th in US it would be 10th grade in British system.
2. This goes with the grade. they are very strict about the age system. The age limit is September 1st. There for if I was to go to UK I will be put back in 8th grade. Not 9th grade. (ALL of them mention this) Sucks to have September birthdays
3. They have houses....Just like Harry Potter (then again Harry Potter is in England so there is no surprise that the school system is based from there) Most houses have the color of red, blue, yellow, and green (no it is not a joke, all the schools all have atleast all the four colors)
4. They tend to limit the number of kids that goes to each grade and class room (for example 2 - 4 class in one grade, 22 student limit to each class)
5. When I graduate not only will I get a high school diploma I will also get a ID (sp?) diploma (I don't know what it stands for but it add ALOT more credits to go with your high school ones)
6. Most gobal language (not counting English) taken here are French, Chinese, Japanese, and German (or those are just the ones I find interested in)
7. All uniforms seems to concise of a polo shirt with school sign and a type of plaid or plain dark color pants and skirts
8. High schoolers (12 -13) doesn't have to dress in uniform but still have to follow the dress code
9. In year 5-7 students are require to take up a string instrument (bass, violin, etc.) and can stop after the end of year 7th. They must buy their own instrument if they wish to continue
10. Football (soccer, if your looking for 'football' it's called rugby) is widely popular

That is all I specially committed to memory. Although I probably gonna go to a school other than the ones I see today (probably American based) since there is no opening for year 8 (7th grade in US) in any of the schools we see. Therefore Boink can't enroll in the school. That and also the fact that I might have to retake 8th grade.....I DO NOT what to retake 8th grade.....

In other news we finally got a TV, a 40" plasma samsung (this brand is popular here). Still the internet connect here is slow....SLOW SLOW SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE IT HATE HATE HATE!!!!!! IT!

It's boring here~ I have been doing nothing but watch cartoon reruns, listend to music, read old mangas, and draw. All in that order. Today I decide to help Mom clean up Dad's bookcase. Stopping in 5 minutes after Mom found an old novel I could read. Well it's not that old but dated 1993. It's really not that bad. It's kinda like To Kill a Mockingbird except it doesn't have any deep meaning. It's really not that bad. I might start reading more on those type of books. I spend the whole day reading it. No TV or Ipod. Would have miss lunch too if Mom didn't took us out to eat. I found a bunch of old pictures of Boink and I. I found a picture of me around 5-ish looking at the camera as if it's a huge monster out to get me. I cracked up. This is what I imagine my face to look like when I first meet Boink..... I'll post the pictures when the computer came cuz this laptop doesn't have a slot of memory cards.

I've been here for 7 days. It feels like 5 days but that's because of jetlag. I go to sleep at 8pm and wake up at 4am in the morning. We're staying over at Grandma 1(Mom's side) house which is a cross the street from our house. We're going to buy our refrigerator and possibly TV today. I'm really missing our old internet connection right now. This laptop is connect to my grandma's phone and internet is really really slow! I can't even watch video on youtube cuz it's too slow to download the video. I hope the internet Dad's getting will be faster. They only have up to 8Mphz (what ever that thing is called, it's the speed of internet). In US they have up to 10. There's nothing on TV too. Only news from other country and some Drama shows in the afternoon.

There's a 7/11 two blocks from our house, Carrefour one block from our house, and the Central that is 15 minutes a way. They're also half way done building another mall next to Centeral. All of these thing to go but I can't go anywhere, because I don't have money. Mom can't take money out of the ATM because her cards are over sea with most of our stuff. The over air stuff came yesterday. They were Mom and Dad's clothes, plates/sliverware, and my manga. Dad got mad at me for sneaking most of my manga over here, but Mom said that I ask her, but I didn't tell her I was bring that much. It's about half of the box. It was worthed even though I have no where to put them....

Our cousin, Ken (Mom's side again) came to see us two days ago. He's half the size of Boink! And shorter too. Dad, Boink, and I was walking through Central a few days a ago. I finally came to a realization: I'm tall here. Okay so 5'5 is not tall since normal height is about 5'8, but here it's very tall. I past the height of all of my mom's friends, and my aunt and grandma. I'm still freaking about it. And Dad wants me to be taller... So this is how my real country is.... I want to go back to US now....

On a side note: I counted 32 7/11 stores in 7 days

Happy birthday to Canada yesturday! I stayed at my Grandma's house yesturday night so there was no internet connection. The weather here isn't as hot as I though. Cincinnati seems much hotter right now. Yesturday, after Mom and Dad arrive to do farther fixing of the house we (Boink and I) visit 7/11 two blocks away. There are A LOT of 7/11 here. I count 7 since we arrive at the air port. We went to MK for lunch with Mom's friend/neighbor/denist at Carrefour (It pronouce: Kafu) near our house (It's actually outside of our block) the day before and we would have gone back but for lunch Boink, Mom, Grandma, and I were by Lotus so we ate at Fuji. My dad WALKED all the way there. Then Boink and I went with Dad to Central (The huge department store is actually 15 minutes from my house by walking; there for it took my Dad about 15 minutes to walk to Lotus). I helped Dad choose a cell phone for him to use during this time. It's actually gonna be my cell phone when Dad get his. Across the cellphone store was a store full of manga. Completely manga. I saw Reborn, Naruto, Code Geass, Vampire Knight, a bunch of CLAMP, and almost all of my childhood favorites. I wanted to buy a set of Reborn (vol.2-21; I have 1-2) but there was no point since I CAN'T read Thai. I haven't read any thing new lately cuz everything is in Thai (except Twilight but I read that thousands of time already) Do you know what's it like to read the same thing over and over again and when you have something you really want to read right in front of your face but can't read it?!!!

OH I just remember my friend, Brooke's birthday is on July 1st! That means she have the same birthday as Cananda lol! I was just thinking about how they were a like.....

Boink is making go off so I will end this with a video that he made on my dad's webcam last night. (PS The man in the back is my dad)

We're here! After an hour of delay, almost missing our flight, and skipping lunch and dinner we are here. I never want to get on a plane ever again, or atleast serveral months. Our first objective is to visit grandma (Mom's side) she lives next door to us. We're staying at the Emperial Inn right now for probably 4 days. We still have to turn on water, air conditioning, cell phone serivce and energy. Then buy new matresses and other household need. What I really need right now is breakfast. We're waiting for Dad and then we're off!

The original owners of the house is coming to check on our house yesturday for things that we might need to pay *cough*the darts hole*cough* Then we'll never see the house ever again.

We had Mexican for dinner today. It was okay, what I love most was the fried ice cream. Even though most of my friends thinks that it's just not right, I love it anyway. Haven't have any since our trip to LA.

Last night I went sleeping over with Lizzy at her house one last time. We went swimming and eat Japanese food for dinner with her parents. I found out that Cincinnati is 1 of top 10 most dangerous city in the US. It's a good thing we're moving isn't it? We then went to target to get a new wii game for her wii that works with the wheel that Lizzy's sister got for her birthday. There wasn't any good racing game so we got cooking mama. This morning I woke up at 4am because Lizzy was kicking me off the bed always (don't know why but she always does that when I sleep over). I woke her up too and we went down stairs. Lizzy went to sleep on the couch in the living room while I draw hetalia. Then she woke up and I went to sleep. Then we move to the family room so she can play cooking mama on the wii (harder than it looks). We just sit in our chairs until 11:30 were we have a quick lunch before Lizzy's dad drop us off at Sport Plus for ice skating (we WERE suppose to see a movie). I haven't skate since last summer...or was it the winter of that year? Either way it have been a long time. The class I took was on basic ice skating. Move. Stop. Balance. I would have gone to level 2 but Boink didn't want to take ice skating so Mom decide that she doesn't want to waste gas money on only driving me.... So it was good to get on the ice again. I only fall once! Actually it was more of a moving turn then quickly lay on the ice on my left leg. It didn't even hurt that much, my hands were just cold when I got up. Then we have some snacks while we wait for Lizzy's mom to pick us up. I showed her some of my drawings. She pointed to a quick sketch of Japan and ask if he was girl. I said yes. I can't draw menly character so he might as well be a girl.

Went shopping with Mom and Boink today. Spended about $120 of Mom's money(because I don't have any) on clothes. Got a new iDog, and found out that LEGO is made in Denmark. Now I have an image of a young Denmark playing with lego set that Boink used to have. I want to draw but my tablet is gone :'(

I tried what seems to be a root beer float. It had vanilla ice cream with sparkling water and chocolate syrup. Some how the sparkling water made the syrup goes puffy and bubbly that took up the whole glass. It tasted like sprite with a chocolate aftertaste with vanilla icecream. The drink itself with out icecream tasted like coffee :P Over all it was great.

I'm going to Lizzy's house for a sleepover tomorrow.
